INBIOMEDvision Training Challenge 2012
- 23 Apr 2012 to 27 Apr 2012
- Catalonia, Spain (near Barcelona)
From April 23rd to April 27th, 2012 the INBIOMEDvision Training Challenge will be held in a nice location close to Barcelona. During the Training Challenge 2 groups of 5 advanced students with expertise on different biomedical (informatics) fields will collaboratively work on a single case study.
The call for student applications is now open! Application deadline: December 31st, 2011.
Each student will be asked to submit a motivated case study - for example a topic from your PhD works that is suitable for a multidisciplinary approach and that focuses on more personalised healthcare. Among the case studies proposed, the organizing committee will select one case study per group.
INBIOMEDvision will cover travel costs, accommodation and meals. No registration fee is charged. During the whole week INBIOMEDvision staff members from different areas of expertise will closely supervise and collaborate with the teams. At the end of the week both teams will present their results at a closing scientific event in Barcelona. A jury will select the winning team which will be rewarded with a prize.
