The DNA-labs on the road is a great hit among high schools, teachers and students. Hundreds of teachers and thousands of students can tell about the success of this educational project. But the DNA-labs continues in developing educational material and giving insights in modern genomics research. Enough reasons for telling everyone about our progress:
The 'DNA-labdag' is a national conference on genomics for high school teachers and technical assistants.
With keynote speakers: forensic geneticist Prof. Dr. Peter de Knijff (genetics and human evolution) and Prof. Dr. Jan Hoeijmakers (DNA and ageing).
And workshops on genomics and didactics. Several workshops include bioinformatics and the NBIC-project 'bioinformatics@school'.
