NBIC Conference 2010
Announcement of the fifth edition of the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre Conference:
Date: 29 & 30 March 2010
Venue: Congrescentrum De Werelt, Lunteren
Programme
This year the conference will consist of 2 separate days: a closed BioRange Project Meeting on March 29 aimed at the NBIC programmes and researchers and an open 2nd NBIC Conference day on March 30.
Day 1: BioRange Project Meeting - March 29
This will be a closed meeting only accessible for people working in a NBIC Partner organisation. We expect all NBIC project participants financed by NBIC working on BioRange and BioAssist projects to be present at this meeting. In addition, we invite all other researchers who are involved in the NBIC programmes as well as researchers that worked in NBIC projects that have already finished. Goal of this meeting is to bring together the researchers related to the NBIC programmes, to exchange information between projects, open discussion and to get to know each other. There will be parallel workshops, BioRange project presentations (on abstract submission), poster sessions, and a social event in the evening.
Day 2: NBIC Conference - March 30
Day 2 of the NBIC Conference is open for everyone interested, and will offer a lively programme with international keynote speakers, an application showcase and presentations by two NBIC keynote speakers. Also the first presentation of the NBIC Young Bioinformatian Award is planned on this day. Confirmed keynote speakers:
