NBIC tools in the spotlight
03 Aug 2012
To inform as many people as possible about the large list of bioinformatics tools available , we will monthly present a tool in the news. This month we put the spotlight on the NBIC Galaxy Server.
NBIC Galaxy is based on the Galaxy system developed by the Center for Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics at Penn State University. Galaxy is an open, web-based platform for accessible, reproducible, and transparent computational biomedical research.
NBIC BioAssist task forces use this server to build and publish their workflows. This server is maintained as an academic best effort and anyone is welcome to use it.
The Galaxy wiki provides more information about Galaxy.
You can directly start analysing your data at the NBIC Galaxy.
