DNA microarrays experience
Strongly involved in the protocol set-up, validation, and quality control of all the steps (see also below) involved in DNA microarrays (see also the BMC genomics publication below).
Liquid handling robots.
Slide spotting and processing (~ 30 slide batches).
RNA isolation and labeling (direct and indirect) with Cy3 / Cy5 dyes.
Hybridization of labeled cDNA and CGH (~ 100 slides).
Slide scanning and image analysis.
Processing normalization and statistical tests for DNA microarray data (see also PreP and MicroPreP below).
Advanced analyses on DNA microarray data: clustering, ANOVA, gene coexpression (correlation, operons, gene ontologies), pattern recognition, gene regulatory binding site determination, use of machine learning algorithms to classify clinical samples, genetic and environmental perturbations, etc.

Proteomics experience
Normalization, statistical data analysis for replicated DIGE proteomics data.
The use of classification algorithms to correlate DIGE proteomics spot abundance to phenotype.
Use of a fractional factorial design to optimize the SELDI chip (Ciphergen) protocol.
