Bioinformatics for researchers in life sciences
Together with the Genomics Centres in the Netherlands, NBIC is developing a course programme aimed at researchers in life sciences. The courses will provide short, effective introductions to various bioinformatics topics that are directly relevant to their daily research activities. The courses will be as much as possible tailored to their specific projects and will provide hands-on knowledge that can be applied immediately. Planned topics include R, Perl for biologists, Genome browsing, Unix/Linux and SQL.
