Description

This one-day advanced-level training course covers the use of bioinformatics workflows for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis.--This course is aimed at dedicated bioinformaticians and research scientists currently-working with NGS data. The programme will address the growing requirement for the-application of reproducible bioinformatics workflows in genetics and genomics research.--Delegates will gain practical experience in building and using workflows with the Galaxy-and Taverna platforms, as well as with the myExperiment system for publishing and-sharing workflows. Practical sessions will be complemented with conceptual overviews of-bioinformatics workfl ows and NGS analysis pipelines, showing the benefits of automating-the analysis and management of large data.
