Bioinformatics Research Support

NBICs Bioinformatics Research Support group (BRS) offers practical help at a project level to life scientists (biologists and clinicians), where bioinformatics is an obstacle in doing research. BRS makes use of existing methods and tools, offers (custom-made) technical solutions, advice and education where needed.

The BRS group consists of four support engineers, which are stationed at bioinformatics groups throughout the Netherlands, and the projects are coordinated from NBIC by Dr. Marc van Driel.

What can BRS do for you

If you’ve got a practical bioinformatics question yourself with which BRS could help, please feel free to contact us.

We offer practical bioinformatics support in short projects to life scientists (end-user biologists and clinicians). In an intake meeting, we will discuss what type bioinformatics support suits your research project, and –if applicable – we make a list of deliverables and a realistic project planning.
