RSG Retreat
The Regional Student Group (RSG) is a group of bioinformatics PhD students in the Netherlands which is part of the world-wide network of RSG's coordinated by the Student Council of the ISCB.
PhD Retreat
We invite all young researchers to join this year's RSG retreat for young scientists in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology organized by the Regional Student Group (RSG) Netherlands. Our retreat precedes the Netherlands Bioinformatics Conference 2012 (NBIC 2012) and provides a good start for this event by giving you the chance to get to know other young researchers in the field and to initiate scientific discussion.

Workshop - Communications & how to convince your supervisor
Good communication in your research project is of vital importance, even more important is good communication with your supervisor. In this workshop we will emphasize on what you, as a PhD, can do to maintain a good relationship with your supervisor. Subjects that come up are; assertiveness, awareness of interpersonal dynamics, giving and receiving feedback and mutual expectations from supervisor and PhD.
