Principal Research
Gunnar Klau heads the Life Sciences group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), the national research center for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands, and is Principal Investigator within the Netherlands Institute for Systems Biology (NISB).
Research:
Klau’s research focuses on algorithm engineering for the analysis of biological and biomedical data, often in the context of biological networks, amongst others, for cancer research. His work involves developing combinatorial algorithms and mathematical models using techniques from Operations Research (OR).
