What your audience wants to know

NBIC

15 Aug 2013

Monday, July 22, 2013, Hienke Sminia (NBIC bioinformatics@school) gave a lecture in Berlin as part of the Workshop on Education at the ISMB. In her talk “What should everyone know about bioinformatics?” she gave tips & trics for organizing activities at exhibits to educate the “general  public”. Most important message is that the general public does not exist: each audience has its own questions and interests. In her prezi-presentation she demonstrates how she tunes the “general public activities” of NBIC to the various audiences at exhibits.
